Calling everyone, we need your participation! The Web Committee is establishing Sober Events & Sobriety News posting procedures.

If you want to have a say in how we post news and events, then join us on Friday, September 12 at 6pm on Zoom (TBA) for a workshop.

Proposed Baseline Event Posting Criteria:

1. Does the information come from the source, not a third party?
2. Is the host an AA home group, intergroup, district, or world service?
3. Does the event information have an explicit AA identifier?
   
   Other Considerations:
4. Should we post events from external entities like PENNSCYPAA, Al-Anon, etc.?
5. Should events that are restricted (explicitly or implied) by gender, race, age, sexual orientation, etc. be posted?
6. Should events outside HAI’s geographic area be posted?
7. If the event was posted in the past, should it be posted in perpetuity?
