Harrisburg Area Intergroup is responsible for bringing meetings to treatment facilities and institutions. We provide them with literature and educate professionals with information about what AA is and what AA is not.

If you are interested in volunteering or speaking, please send an e-mail to Institutions@aaharrisburg.org.

For more information about carrying the AA message into treatment facilities and institutions there is a pamphlet titled AA in Treatment Settings, or the Treatment Committee Workbook, found on http://www.AA.org.

Gaudenzia’s program called Concept-90 provides non-hospital, long term substance abuse services and has requested that 2 AA members bring in an AA Meeting. Common Ground

Firetree Ltd.’s program called Conewago Place is an all-male facility that provides non-hospitalized substance abuse services and has requested that 1 male AA member shares his story the 1st & 2nd Friday of every month. Conewago Place is located at 424 Nye Road, Hummelstown PA 17035.

 

Arkview Recovery Center

Arkview Recovery Center is an addiction treatment center and mental health treatment facility located in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania. We offer a full continuum of care, from drug detox to residential to outpatient rehab in a warm, inviting and safe environment. They have requested that an AA member share his/her story every Tuesday. Arkview Recovery Center is located at 4950 Wilson Lane, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.

Daystar Center for Spiritual Recovery is a community based residential Substance Abuse Treatment for men, has requested that AA members bring in an AA Meeting every other Sunday of the week. Daystar Center is located at 125 N. 18th St, Harrisburg PA 17103.
